Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great holiday and are going into the new year with positive energy!
I’m thinking of switching things up on here—again. This site went from being a blog to a place to post webstories, but now I’m thinking of making it a place to post my EVERYTHING. That would be stories, art, essays for fandoms I’m into, witchcraft things I’m trying out, just whatever’s in my mind at the time.
As the Muskpocalypse has shown on Twitter, social media…isn’t the best place to archive all of your art and thoughts for a long period of time. At any moment, the site can go kaput and you can lose everything.
That’s why I kinda wanna lean towards posting on my site more, so that I can have more control over my content! I still plan to share my art and ramble about my favorite characters on Tumblr and Twitter and such, but I would much prefer to archive anything that I feel is important and worth keeping here!
That does mean that this site is going to be a mess, but you know what? That fits me more. Organization is overrated X3
I also want to have a bit more of a regular schedule. I find that I am much happier when I set and make deadlines as opposed to “posting whenever I feel every month or two”. So, I plan to post something every Saturday from now on. It can be a story, a life update, a vlog, art, etc. But it’s going to be something! Just so I have a small goal for myself.
The only exception is the last Saturday of the month, both because rest is important and if every week has the same schedule for me I will scream—politely, of course 🙂
I still plan to continue Stolen House and, eventually, Fetherbane Academy in the next year! Along with other projects, such as short stories and my writing process on non-prose work. And I actually have some work I’ve been meaning to post, but just haven’t. Hopefully, having a schedule will help with that!
That’s it from me! Just a little update on what kind of content I’ll have and what the schedule looks like. Hopefully I’ll be able to actually keep up with it, but hey! I surprised myself before!
Happy New Year! May you also surprise yourself in achieving goals you once didn’t think was possible!
